WHAT WE DEVELOP · 00
We develop the concept. Then we help you produce it.
Six domains. Each written as: what you bring · what we develop · how it integrates · what's live. Every one with real work behind it.
MATERIALS · 01
Fibres and side-streams we process
Recycled textile and denim · cotton · reed · straw · hemp · flax · nettle · bagasse · bark and sawmill side-streams · brewer's spent grain · cereal husks · oat and oil-pressing residues · recovered fibre and OCC. If your material isn't listed, ask — feed preparation and pulping route development is the core of what we do.
D·01FLAGSHIP
Recycled textile-fibre paper
- What you bring
- Recycled textile, a target spec, and a downstream buyer in mind.
- What we develop
- Furnish recipe, fibre prep, refining strategy, web formation and reel-side parameters on the HEILI line. Inventor-led, with 30 t already produced.
- How it integrates
- Basis-of-design and a qualification volume that an OEM mill or converter can run — bridged to a brand-side technical review.
- What's live
- Retail packaging partner (under NDA). European textile-paper developer in development.

D·02
Agrofibre & side-stream pulping
- What you bring
- Reed, straw, bagasse, hemp, bark, sawmill side-streams — a feedstock with a paper or molded-fibre end in mind.
- What we develop
- Caustic and/or steam-explosion pre-treatment, multi-stage refining, screening and forming. Process windows characterised end-to-end.
- How it integrates
- A pulping route documented to a basis-of-design level, with the energy and chemical balance an integrator needs.
- What's live
- Anchor reed-molded programme. European brand-and-packaging straw-liner consortium in negotiation.

D·03
Hard subprocess problems · washing · cleaning · drying · dewatering · screening
- What you bring
- A process that works at lab scale but stalls on a real line — contaminants, chemical recovery, drying limits.
- What we develop
- Belt-filter washing and dewatering, contaminant removal, thin-film evaporator chemical recovery, drying envelopes, screening trains. The unit operations everyone underestimates.
- How it integrates
- Closed-loop process data and a clear path for the engineering hand-off.
- What's live
- Active development across multiple client programmes — a genuine engineering differentiator.

D·04
Molded-fibre packaging & product development
- What you bring
- A part concept or a packaging brief — protective insert, food-service item, retail form.
- What we develop
- Concept and product development for molded fibre — from furnish through formed part. Dedicated molding capability, separate from the paper line.
- How it integrates
- Tooling, recipe and process documented for hand-off to a molded-fibre converter.
- What's live
- Anchor partner programme in dev partnership.

D·05
Specialty cellulose · MFC · MCC · NFC
- What you bring
- A fibrillation target, a rheology spec, or a downstream application.
- What we develop
- Microfibrillated cellulose, nanocellulose and microcrystalline cellulose — development and characterisation. Fibrillation (Zapaca, Atrex), morphology and downstream windows.
- How it integrates
- Sample volume + characterisation pack for brand or formulator qualification.
- What's live
- Active development conversations in this platform.

D·06
Scale-up & supply-chain integration
- What you bring
- A validated concept that needs to land in real production.
- What we develop
- Process and energy data pack, basis-of-design, operability narrative, and the documentation an integrator will demand.
- How it integrates
- We don't stop at the reel — we stay with the project into an OEM mill or onto your supply chain.
- What's live
- Standing capability across every domain.
